Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The Directory listed a catalogue feed only once someone subscribed, so nothing could be put there for others to find, and a feed left when its last subscriber did. Wanted: an admin can list a feed (ipx add --list --category News) and it shows with no subscribers and stays; unsubscribed feeds are checked daily, not hourly; a job removes feeds nobody subscribes to that are dead or quiet, so the Directory stays clean. Then seed it with established news sources (public broadcasters, major papers, ProPublica), each checked to serve current items. Asked for 2026-09-29.
Done in
43acc62and the two commits after: the Directory lists every catalogue feed; ipx add --list --category marks one listed (or updates one already there), which stays when its last subscriber leaves and downloads nothing until someone subscribes; unsubscribed feeds are checked daily; clean_directory removes unsubscribed feeds dead 30 days or quiet a year (none in production today). Seeded 13 news feeds and listed CBC, all scanned with titles, artwork and items. Deployed.
