ipx logs only to stdout, and the container uses Docker's json-file driver, so recreating the container on a deploy throws the log away. Looking through the log on 2026-09-29 found 13 minutes of it, all since that morning's deploy; any failure before that was gone. Options: a log file under /data, or a logging driver that outlives the container.

Covered outside ipx: Alloy (monitoring project, set up 2026-09-29) ships every container's log to Loki, iPX's included, so a deploy no longer loses it. Loki has iPX's log from 12:52 that day on.
