Found reviewing what production's traces and metrics leave out, 2026-10-25. ipx's lines carry trace_id and span_id (WithTrace in logging.rs); the directory's do not, so a failed feed check is found in Tempo only by its time. Wanted: the same on the directory's lines.

Fixed in dd91602: WithTrace moved to ipx_directory::otel; the directory's lines in a span carry trace_id and span_id, seen on its request lines. Deployed 2026-10-25.
