Hover styles stick on a phone after a tap #311

Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The page's :hover rules are not behind
@media (hover:hover), and Safari keeps :hover on whatever was last tapped (the stylesheet says so itself, app.css:1377). Only .btn and .ep are reset for phones (app.css:1380, 1417). The rest latch: #pplay keeps its accent fill after a tap (1065), a Directory category's covers stay fanned out (.cat, 729, 747-749), and .iconbtn (526), .tgroup buttons (557), .clearx (591), .feed (602), .iconcell (631), .chev (645), .pills (756) and .place (1259) stay shaded, reading as selected when they are not.Fix: put the :hover rules inside @media (hover:hover) and delete the two phone resets, which then have nothing to undo.
Found in a UI-polish review of the main window (2026-10-19). Not reproduced in a browser: Chromium's phone emulation reports hover: none and moves hover with each tap, so it cannot show Safari's latch; the evidence is the source and its own comment. Check on the iPhone (Glass).
Fixed in
0696583: every :hover rule is inside @media (hover:hover), and the two phone resets are gone. An item row's actions still show on :hover outside the query, so a tablet with no pointer reaches them by tapping the row. Deployed in ipx-web; not yet checked on the iPhone.
