Asked for on 2026-10-19: once something is typed in a search box, an X inside the box at its right end clears it.

Done in 4c1b784, deployed in ipx-web 2026-10-19. An x at the right end inside every search box (items, the feed list, Admin's log, a Signal's icons), shown once something is typed; it clears the box and its list comes back. Browser test added.
