Reported 2026-10-16: the Apple Signal said 2 unread in the sidebar and its page had no unread items. The server agreed with the page (/api/signals said 0). The page fetches the Signals' counts only with the feed list (loadFeeds), so reading an item, here or elsewhere, and Jev adding one leave the sidebar's counts as they were until a reload.

Fixed in 1ae9117, deployed (ipx and ipx-web): the page fetches the Signals' counts again after a read or unread, and on a signal_hits event the judge sends once a pass for each person it found items for.
