The refresher checks the 25 feeds of a round one after another, so a publisher that times out (30 s) holds the whole round: rounds of 50-74 s on 2026-10-13, e.g. trace cbcf04b94cd1bab1b1841a18a9e14ed9, where two libsyn feeds took 30 s each. Check several at a time, as ipx's scans fetch ahead.

Fixed in 8d7a30d, deployed (ipx and ipx-directory 1.1.1-dev). The refresher checks five feeds at a time (for_each_concurrent); SQLite stays on one connection, so its writes queue.
