Found while matching the strip behind the Dynamic Island to the top bar (#147). On a phone the feed list is a drawer moved off the screen to the left (transform: translateX(-100%)), but it keeps its box-shadow (0 10px 36px), which falls back onto the page: the left 30px or so of the top bar and of everything under it are darker, in every theme. Measured in Chromium at 390px, the left edge 30px down: Glass light 231,233,243 with the shadow, 246,247,255 without; Modern dark 7,19,33 against 10,23,38. Beside the flat strip iOS paints above the page it leaves a seam at the top-left corner. The shadow belongs to the open drawer only. CSS: #sidebar in the max-width:820px block of web/app.css, and Glass's own #sidebar box-shadow on a phone.
Fixed in
a12aa59: on a phone the feed list has its shadow only while open, Glass's included. The left edge now measures the same with and without the drawer. Deployed as 0.10.3-dev.
