Two Directory feeds are dead: Yahoo Finance's is gone, TV Fanatic's is behind a browser check #150

Found in a production check on 2026-10-08. Two listed Directory feeds with no subscribers fail on every daily check:

  • yahoo-finance (https://finance.yahoo.com/news/rssindex, Business / Investing): HTTP 404 since 2026-10-06 23:53 UTC. curl from Tower gets the same 404 with any user agent; the other Yahoo Finance RSS addresses answer 429 from here. The publisher took it down or moved it.
  • tv-fanatic (https://www.tvfanatic.com/feed/, TV & Film / TV Reviews): HTTP 403 since 2026-10-05 23:50 UTC. It is Cloudflare's bot check (cf-mitigated: challenge, a "Just a moment..." page), which refuses a browser's user agent from Tower as well and also guards the home page. The same kind of block as #144.

Both are the publishers'. clean_directory removes an unsubscribed feed after 30 days dead, so left alone they go on their own around 2026-11-05; until then the Directory shows them, with the reason (#142). Unlist them sooner, or point Yahoo Finance at a working address.

Left to the cleanup: neither has a subscriber, so clean_directory removes each 30 days after it began failing, tv-fanatic around 2026-11-04 and yahoo-finance around 2026-11-05. Nothing to do by hand.
