The Directory shows one row of chips holding whatever each feed's category is: a top-level Apple category (Technology), or a subcategory (Tech News, Video Games, Visual Arts), side by side. A podcast's own itunes:category is stored as its subcategory where it has one (feed.rs), and the categories Jev gives since #117 are often subcategories too, so after the forced scan on 2026-10-04 the row has 22 chips, with Technology beside Tech News and Games beside Video Games.
Apple's Podcasts directory browses a category first, then its subcategories. The Directory should do the same: a row of top-level categories, and once one is picked, a row of its subcategories. A category that is not Apple's (one an admin typed) stands as a top-level category of its own.

Production's Directory went from 22 mixed chips to 11 categories: Technology 61, News 37, Leisure 16, Society & Culture 9, Arts 5, Science 5, Business 4, and one each for Fiction, TV & Film, Education and Comedy.
